There are many ways to learn about yourself, psychology, or the world around you.
Joining our workshops is one such way
Each month Gathering Thoughts offers two workshops to the public.
The first is a contempary workshop on a pertinant topic. Open to everyone, this workshop aims to assist the general public in bettering their mental health through self-exploration and expression, knowledge and learning, and personal growth.
The second is a Parenting Workshop, aimed at strengthening the bond between parents and children. Parents are invited to attend in order to better understand and empathise with their children, listen more effectively to their children, and implement healthier boundaries. This will encourage the children to do better with their behaviour, study more effectively, express themselves clearly, and have a better relationship with their parents.
Tailored Workshops are also offered as a part of our School and Business packages. Tailored workshops are at the discretion of the managers, and can be provided to students, employees, managers, teachers, admin, or anyone who may benefit from a mental health perspective.
Topics can include:
How to manage stress
How to effectively manage your time
How to improve communication with clients/employees
How to improve communication with students
Understanding the effect of common mental health concerns on productivity
Understanding the effect of common mental health concerns on study
How to support at-risk students and/or staff
